Pricing, in plain numbers
Kindroid does not publish pricing publicly, so we mark it unconfirmed rather than guessing. Swipey starts at $7.99/mo (as of 2026-10-08). Watch for token systems and add-ons on both sides: the sticker price is rarely the whole bill in this category.
NSFW policy
Kindroid allows NSFW content. Official moderation guidelines (updated Oct 6, 2026) explicitly permit NSFW and erotic roleplay: 'We believe AI companions should be able to have the whole breadth of legal human adult experiences.' Red lines: self-harm, harm to others, CSAM. Kindroid Social (public posts) prohibits nudity/explicit sexual content. Swipey allows NSFW content. Official homepage: 'Swipey AI is built for adults 18+, with age checks, and it is uncensored for them across chat, images and video.' Blocked for everyone per the Terms: minors, real people without consent, non-consent, incest and bestiality. (Earlier third-party claims that explicit content is not allowed are contradicted by the official site.)
How this comparison was built
How this comparison was built — the boring part that makes the rest trustworthy: every price and policy above was pulled from an official source where possible, dated, and marked unconfirmed where it wasn't verifiable. We don't invent weaknesses and we don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done. Full rules: editorial policy.
