As of 2026-10-08 the homepage copy no longer uses the earlier 'Hardcore XL' and 'no-filter' wording. The official Content Moderation Policy bans CSAM (including AI-generated), non-consensual deepfake/intimate imagery, bestiality and extreme graphic violence, with possible referral to law enforcement.

How this review was built

This is a document review: we compared Promptchan's published pricing and policy pages against the rest of the market, dated every claim, and marked what we couldn't verify as unconfirmed. We have not claimed hands-on testing of Promptchan, and we don't assign scores that would imply it. Full rules: editorial policy.

Where we'd start instead

our product

Best for free adult AI chat with realistic and anime characters, photos and voice calls

PureLove, our own product, is free: unlimited text chat after signup, with photos, voice notes and live calls on free tokens. It's newer and smaller than the biggest apps here, with a smaller character roster. Weigh it against Promptchan with both pricing tables open.

Pros

• Free: unlimited text chat after signup, no paid plan required
• Photos, voice notes and live voice calls run on free tokens
• 46 realistic and 20 anime characters, plus a character builder

Cons

• It's a web app with no native iOS or Android app, so you chat in the browser.
• Photos and voice are capped by your free tokens; only text chat is unlimited
