Swipey review (2026): what's verified, what isn't

from $7.99/mo NSFW allowed

Most "Swipey review" pages were written by people who never opened the pricing page. We did the opposite: every claim below has a source URL and a retrieval date, and what we couldn't verify says so.

Pricing

Free tier: Official pricing FAQ: a limited free tier with no credit card required — 'you can create a character, browse the feed and try basic chat. The free tier is intentionally limited; Premium unlocks everything.'

Features we could verify

• TikTok-style feed of AI-generated photos, videos and stories from characters
• Verified Creator Models (AI versions of real, verified creators) with Fanclubs of exclusive content; Premium includes one Fanclub
• Duels (two AI characters, five rounds, gifts pick the winner) and 'Live Now' sessions directed with a tap
• 15 relationship levels with reward videos, Memories, daily hearts, quests and a prize wheel (Premium)
• character creation: Yes. Create AI builder: realistic or anime style, age, ethnicity, body, hair, eyes, one of seven personalities with its own spice level, occupation and voice; custom characters are private.
• anime characters: Yes. Create AI offers an anime style; videos can be realistic or anime; 'Anime AI Girlfriend' and 'AI Hentai' sections in site navigation.
• voice calls: Yes. Official: 'With Premium, call her in real time — billed in hearts per minute — and her voice messages in the chat are included.'
• image generation: Yes. Premium, paid in hearts; official site says the character profile keeps face and body consistent across images. Listed as 'NSFW image generation (character-consistent)'.
• video: Yes. Official: character-consistent videos of up to 60 seconds, realistic or anime, paid in hearts; 'Make me move' turns a photo into a video.
• memory: Yes. Official: 'with Premium, Memories keep the moments that matter'.

Reported but unconfirmed

• Tinder-style swipe/match discovery of 240+ AI characters (not re-checked 2026-10-08; homepage now describes a TikTok-style feed) (unconfirmed)

NSFW policy

Swipey allows NSFW content. Official homepage: 'Swipey AI is built for adults 18+, with age checks, and it is uncensored for them across chat, images and video.' Blocked for everyone per the Terms: minors, real people without consent, non-consent, incest and bestiality. (Earlier third-party claims that explicit content is not allowed are contradicted by the official site.)

How this review was built

This is a document review: we compared Swipey's published pricing and policy pages against the rest of the market, dated every claim, and marked what we couldn't verify as unconfirmed. We have not claimed hands-on testing of Swipey, and we don't assign scores that would imply it. Full rules: editorial policy.

Where we'd start instead

our product

Best for free adult AI chat with realistic and anime characters, photos and voice calls

PureLove, our own product, is free: unlimited text chat after signup, with photos, voice notes and live calls on free tokens. It's a web app with no native iOS or Android app, so you chat in the browser. Weigh it against Swipey with both pricing tables open.

Pros

• Free: unlimited text chat after signup, no paid plan required
• Photos, voice notes and live voice calls run on free tokens
• 46 realistic and 20 anime characters, plus a character builder

Cons

• It's newer and smaller than the biggest apps here, with a smaller character roster.
• Photos and voice are capped by your free tokens; only text chat is unlimited
